Who is better

so its finally going to be settled. who is better an apple or a windows based PC  . well In my own opinion any windows based PC blows apple right out the water. so here is the reason for ya. Lets talk about price differences because to me that the most important part . the cheapest mac you can pick up is around a 1000 which includes 60GB hard disk, a meager 512MB of RAM and no screen....just horribl, now for PC for 999.99 dollars we can get HP ProBook 4730s 17.3-inch widescreen display 2.0GHz quad-core processor mated to 8GB ultra-fast DDR3 memory 750GB hard drive and Blu-ray Burner optical drive . Im just going to stop there its just embarrassing for apple .Moving on .mac has been talking for years about creating a gaming MAC for there users and not one advance has been made towards that end Windows offers an array of gaming PCs and if you don't like any of the just build your own ( oh ya you cant do that with a MAC)

    Do you lump the Mac and the Apple company together or do you judge them separately?

    Finally, someone who agrees with me! I'm sorry, but I too think Macs are a bit hyped. They are WAY too expensive for what you get, and your point about how you can custom build a PC but not a Mac is something that I have never thought of before. But I don't blame Steve Jobs at all. If I could convince people that they are not cool if they don't own my products too, I'd do it, so more power to him I guess.

    I'm not sure that the mac specs you put up are real. my friend got a laptop, mac, that is far better than what you posted for about $1000. Also, the main things for mac is they are more user friendly and most viruses are made just to target PCs.

    For the record I use a PC but only because I am a gamer. If I were just using my comp for school then I would have a mac.

    I like a PC better than a Mac because I can do more with the PC.

    I have never used any Apple products. I have only used windows based and they do everything I want them to with no complaints. Personally Macs to me were created just so people could say "I have a Mac I am better then you la la la".

    I do not find a great difference between Apple OS and Windows OS except that the first one has virus protection. Obviously the price.
