range of games

PCs have a considerably larger library of games available than Mac computers due to the PCs traditional use as a gaming machine. Many computer games are release for Mac much later than they are released for PC, or they are not released for Mac at all. Mac computers with a custom form factor, such as the iMac or the Mac mini, also do not have upgradeable processors or graphics cards which is most vital for gaming performance, are not upgradable . As of February 2011, the Mac Pro is the only Mac computer than can upgrade these components and add other new components using PCI slots.windows based pc's on the other hand are capable of upgrading almost ant component in the tower, upgrades such as crossfireX which allow the user to run two video cards at once  make the windows based pc much more apt for video gamers world wide.

  1. Did you mean to refer your readers to the web site where you got your information? Tech Tips had a lot to say about which is better for gaming, the Mac or PC. http://techtips.salon.com/better-gaming-mac-pc-2635.html

  2. It is true that PCs blow Macs out of the water when it comes to the amount of games that they are able to play. To my knowledge Any game that a mac can play a PC can play. However, larger gaming company's such as Blizzard tend to make their games for both systems. So, for more casual gamers there is still plenty to choose from. Also, For the graphics card problem as long as you dont have a mac that is more than 5 years old you should still be able to play most games just on a much lower setting.
